About Us

Gift of Giving was founded by Bonnie and Wayne Kakuda in 2015.  We have lived in the Avondale School District for over twenty years and have children who attend Avondale Schools.  Throughout our life, we have always believe in helping children reach their fullest potential and Gift of Giving allows us and other like-minded community members to achieve this goal.

Gift of Giving is a 501(c)3 organization with a Board of Directors consisting of  Bonnie Kakuda, Wayne Kakuda, and Jeff Lau.  With a 501(c)3 status, charitable donations are tax deductible (please consult your tax advisor).  Should you need our tax id number, please email info@giftofgiving-mi.org.
